Borst Leadership Endowment
Dr. Larry Borst was one of the founding board members of the Indiana Animal Health Foundation. Dr. Borst also served as IVMA President in 1979.
Because of this, he was long committed to developing leadership skills in young veterinarians. In December 2002, Dr. Borst donated $10,000 to the Foundation to establish the Larry Borst Leadership Endowment. Today, this endowment has grown 5 times over while honoring its purpose. The Endowment covers the registration fees for all of IVMA’s Power of 10 participants to attend the AVMA Leadership Conference each January in Chicago. The Endowment has covered the registration fees for over 50 young veterinarians since 2016 and continues to be impactful today.
